The Myths of Electronic Bidets: Battery-Powered Electronic Bidets

July 18, 2024

Some customers ask, “Is there a battery-operated electronic bidet?” Unfortunately, the answer is no. Electronic bidets require more power than the battery can provide. For example, a tankless electronic bidet model requires a maximum power consumption of 1400 watts to be fully functional. Even a tank-style electronic bidet can draw around 600 watts of peak power. The battery is too weak to provide enough power for the electric bidet seat.

An electric bidet requires cold water to be brought in, heated, and then pumped through the nozzles with enough pressure to clean the user. This requires a lot of energy, so an electrical outlet is required.

Oceanwell has a range of electronic bidets to choose from, welcome to contact us to learn more.
